“Stephen Curry Seeks Revenge with a Three-Word Message After Losing Millions to Patrick Mahomes Overnight”

While NBA free agency is finally upon us, the collective eyes of the sporting world were on a different game. Just a day before, a certain Match took place featuring a collection of some of the greatest in their respective sport. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have spearheaded four NBA Championships for the Golden State Warriors. Simultaneously, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce are paving the way for their very own dynasty. In an epic, and hilarious, encounter, it was the football duo that ultimately got the victory. But seems like the 9x NBA All-Star has revenge on his mind.

People were surprised with the end result, which saw Stephen Curry lose millions to the Kansas State Chiefs duo. So what did Curry really think about it?

Stephen Curry has revenge on his mind

At this point, we are all well-equipped with Steph’s almost psychotic mindset. Whether it be his insane halftime routine or remembering random ESPN interviews, the Chef is always in his bag. But that’s what the great ones do, right? They take it personally.

Curry revealed that when he’s having a bad game, he will go into the locker room at halftime and look at his Twitter mentions. Seeing the disrespect and hate comments, he uses them as fuel to deliver a spectacular second half. With that in mind, it was no surprise that he did not take the loss to Mahomes and Kelce lightly.

The Davidson product was quick to fire off a response. He began his message on a rather amusing note, “All that talking but took the L!” While praising the team effort and congratulating his opponents, it was the last line that caught attention. “Run It Back,” the famous Warriors mantra might be Steph’s calling card.

Just four months after their second Super Bowl victory, Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce entered The Match as slight underdogs but managed to make it look effortless. The entire ordeal was just as hilarious as it was exciting, with Draymond Green and Charles Barkley joining in on the banter.

The Match was a true spectacle While it wasn’t a flawless performance from the NFL stars, they found a way. Despite Mahomes’ occasional wayward tee shots, Kelce’s surprisingly strong game compensated for it. Additionally, Mahomes’ proficiency in the short game proved to be crucial in the early holes.

During the course, the teams had additional challenges to complete. The fourth, sixth, eighth, and twelfth hole would net a $2 million bonus. The 12th hole in particular would earn a $5 million bonus. However, the inconsistent putting from Curry and Thompson ultimately hindered their performance, while Kelce’s impressive shots provided the necessary boost for the Chiefs’ side, which earned them a lot of bonuses.

With the way Steph is wired, perhaps he uses this loss as further motivation for a critical 2023-24 NBA season. What did you think of the match? Let us know in the comments below.
